This is not your usual drum kit. It includes specially selected Ludwig, Gretsch, Zildjian and Sabian pieces to deliver the perfect metal sound. XLN Audio also included special “trig” sounds for the kick and the snare. These sounds can be played in conjunction with the kick and snare drums to give even more edge and attack in your mix. This is a popular technique used by metal producers, and you can hear it in your tracks, too.

This kit includes 31 presets made by professional metal producers including Roberto Laghi and Björn Gelotte (In Flames), David E.K. (Fuge), Martin Preikschas and many others. These presets provide instant access to a variety of different metal sub-genres (heavy metal, death metal, speed metal and others) and can be used as-is or easily tweaked to achieve a unique sound that’s exactly right for your music.
